Is it ok to use Almay moisturizer on recently done tattoos?

I just got a tattoo on the right side of my hip and I was wondering what kind of cream I should be using. Is it ok to use Almay moisturizer on recently done tattoos?
I recommend KERI lotion. My Brother is a free hand tattoo artist and he tells all his clients to use KERI. It helps to heal the tattoo faster...Is it ok to use Almay moisturizer on recently done tattoos?
Try Bag Balm. This is what I was told to use. Usually you can find it in a Walgreens or a Walmart. It is in a green tin and has a cow on it. It was originally formulated for cows utters to prevent from chapping and clear up infections. This is great for new tatoos, dry feet and hands, use as an overnight treatment. It will last forever. I guess Almay is okay until you get something else. As long as you keep your tatoo moist so that it does scab up too much, and don't pick the scabs. You can lose the ink and have to have your tatoo redone.
no, you need to be using Aquaphore, or Tattoo Goo.

Don't put regular moisturizer on it for 2 weeks, or until it's healed.
for the first 2-4 weeks keep it saturated with a+d ointment, yes, the diaper rash stuff. after that, once the swelling has subsided, apply aveeno on a daily basis to keep mosturized and to get the most out of the colors. don't forget that you cant overexpose it to sun for at least 6 months or so...good luck...
I would think triple antibiotic ointment would be best. There are perfumes and other things in the products your asking about I'm sure. Not so sure that is good for a new tattoo, or where you got it done would be selling the stuff. Didn't the tattoo shop give you directions on how to take care of it anyway?.....
As long as it is fregrance free.
