I work for a department store in the cosmetics department, so I hope I can answer this pretty well!





Pro's:


Almay make up is hypoallergenic, so if you have sensitive skin then you don't have to worry as much about reactions as you would with other brands.


Almay makes various types of foundation for different skin types, like oil control, blemish control, and one for dry skin. You should be able to find one to fit your skin!


Almay makes a collection of eye makeup for each colour of eyes. They have coordinating eye shadow, eye liner and mascara to best bring out your eye colour.





Con's:


Almay makeup is very expensive in comparison to other brands like Cover Girl and Maybelline.


Almay does not have a great selection of product, other than their foundation. In most stores they do not carry a blush (other than their cream blush which is like $13 for a small tube!) little choice between mascara and eyeliner, eye shadow and not too many lip products.





So overall I would recommend Almay for someone with sensitive skin, or recommend that you buy their foundation as they have many different types. For simple items like mascara, eye shadow, eyeliner and blush go to a cheaper brand like Maybelline or Cover Girl! :)

imo Almay is the best drugstore brands. If I'm too lazy to go to the MAC store or forgot to bring it with me etc I'll use Almay liquid liner (it's what I used before I discovered MAC). It has a nice tip and consistency, and seems to stay put
